Lead special projects in Treasury Accounting area - restructuring projects, opening and closure of entities.
It s a global role, currently the focus is on Europe.
Need to effectively collaborate with the project team and various cross functional teams like Treasury Operations, Financial Reporting, Tax, Legal, Policy teams, Central finance etc.
CA/CMA qualified with 5+ years of experience in accounting roles - prior experience of handling investment/equity accounting and handling restructuring projects.
Knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP in European countries
From Treasury Accounting, lead/participate in meetings to understand project requirements, understand Intercompany Investment structures, analyze current General Ledger balances, create/suggest step-in entries after assessing the impact on US GAAP and local GAAP if any.
Step in entries will have to be booked into the ledger (SAP)
Interpretation of Board Resolutions and other relevant documentation to ensure accurate accounting of
Intercompany Investment/Equity transactions whenever there is a cash infusion or repatriation.
Intercompany Dividend/Income recognition transactions whenever there is a cash movement and ensure facilitation of elimination process.
Collaborate independently with cross functional teams.
