Job Overview:
The Trippers is seeking an experienced and passionate Travel Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in planning and booking their travel itineraries, ensuring they have an exceptional experience. You will play a key role in creating memorable journeys for our clients while helping to drive the company's sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction and Sales:
a)Engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person to understand their travel needs and preferences.
b)Provide detailed information on travel destinations, tour packages, and accommodations.
c)Convert leads into confirmed bookings by providing exceptional customer service and creating customized travel solutions.
d)Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through consistent performance.
2. Travel Planning and Coordination:
a)Research and recommend travel destinations, tours, and activities tailored to the client's preferences.
b)Assist customers with travel itineraries, flight bookings, hotel reservations, transportation, and travel insurance.
c)Stay updated on travel trends, regulations, and promotions to ensure clients receive the best options.
d)Handle customer inquiries, cancellations, and modifications to bookings efficiently.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
a)Coordinate with tour operators, airlines, and hotels to ensure smooth travel arrangements for clients.
b)Work closely with the marketing team to promote travel packages and special deals.
c)Build and maintain relationships with repeat clients and generate referrals through excellent service.
4. Problem Solving and Crisis Management:
a)Resolve any issues or complications that may arise during the travel booking or trip process.
b)Offer prompt support for customers facing travel disruptions, such as flight delays or cancellations.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting:
a)Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and bookings in the company's system.
b)Prepare sales reports and provide insights on customer feedback to improve services.
