Job Description

Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • Any Graduation
Should have Minimum 6+ Years of Experiencein the relevant industry
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in using transportation management software. Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Management:
Oversee and coordinate all transportation activities for the institutions, including daily routes, vehicle scheduling, and logistics.
  • Ensure timely and safe transportation of students, staff, and other stakeholders.
Develop and manage transportation schedules and routes to optimize efficiency.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:
Monitor and ensure the regular maintenance and servicing of all transportation vehicles.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols for vehicle operation and passenger safety.
Conduct routine inspections and manage repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Driver Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, ensuring they adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to drivers.
Address and resolve any driver-related issues or concerns.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driver logs, and transportation incidents.
Prepare and submit reports related to transportation operations.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
Manage the transportation budget, including costs related to fuel, maintenance, and staffing.
  • Evaluate and recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements for transportation services.
  • Communication and Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact for transportation-related queries and concerns from students, parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address transportation needs and resolve issues.
Provide regular updates and reports to institutional leadership regarding transportation operations.
  • Emergency Response:
Develop and implement emergency response plans related to transportation incidents.

Coordinate with emergency services and ensure appropriate actions are taken during transportation emergencies.
