Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Transformer Designer at Sprng Energy in Pune. The Transformer Designer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, implementing power distribution solutions, and working on power systems. The role also involves collaborating with engineering teams to optimize transformer designs and ensure efficient energy distribution.
Qualifications
- Electrical Design, Electricity, and Electrical Engineering skills
- Experience in Power Distribution and Power Systems
- Knowledge of transformer design principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Desirable
Preparation of Specification & data sheet for Power Transformer, Inverter Duty Transformer, Wind Duty Distribution Transformer, Auxiliary Transformer including Selection of various accessories like bushings, OLTC, PRVs, Buchholz relays, Breathers, Oil level gauges, valve. Aircel, breather, etc.
Create, optimise and finalise the electrical designs of power transformers upto 400 kV voltage class.
Designing and preparation of Core, clamps, windings and active part insulation upto 400kV voltage class.
Designing and preparation of Lead routing and connections with copper busbars and copper tubes
Experience in tank and externals design along with stiffener placements, conservator selection, cooling bank structures etc
Dielectric simulation with Finite Element Analysis for electric stress estimation.
Structural simulation with Finite Element Analysis for mechanical stress estimation and material optimisation
Experience in natural ester & synthetic ester filled Transformer designs
Having Software Skills such as Proprietary Electrical Design software, Creo Parametric (3D modelling), Dielectric and structural simulation tools
(Using Creo Simulate), AutoCAD (2D or 3D modelling), Microsoft Office and other applicable software required for Transformer design.
Exposure for Transformer stagewise inspection, Handling Third party inspector during FAT, Preparation of Quality Inspection plans
Supervision on Transformer installation at site and site inspections.
