Transcription Editor

The Board of JustAct comprises esteemed individuals, including a former Judge of Punjab & Haryana High Court, a reputed High Court lawyer, and the ex-Managing Director of Deutsche Bank.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Transcription Editor at JustAct in Chennai. The Transcription Editor will be responsible for transcribing and editing audio recordings, ensuring accuracy and clarity in transcribed documents, and maintaining quality standards for all transcripts.

• Transcription and Editing skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing content
• Experience with audio editing software
• Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Previous experience in legal transcription is a plus
