Job Purpose:
The Training and Development Specialist facilitates employee learning and professional growth within an organization. Their primary focus is on enhancing employees skills, knowledge, and abilities, thereby contributing to the company's overall success.
Job Duties:
Identify the specific training needs of employees and departments within the organization.
Develop and design training programs and materials tailored to meet the identified needs. This may include creating training modules, workshops, e-learning courses, and other educational resources.
Deliver training sessions or coordinate with subject matter experts to provide instruction to employees. This can involve in-person training, virtual training, or a combination of both.
Collaborate with HR professionals, department managers, and other stakeholders to ensure training initiatives align with organizational goals and objectives.
Adapt training and development initiatives to align with company objectives, strategies, and culture changes.
Create training material, monitor trainees progress, and provide constructive feedback.
Assess the effectiveness of training programs by measuring the impact on employee performance and job skills.
Education: An MBA or postgraduate degree.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
