In this role, you'll play a vital role in developing and maintaining our high-frequency trading systems, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the health of our trading infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Automate the startup and shutdown of our proprietary trading systems across various exchanges and asset classes.
- Fine-tune Linux servers to achieve optimal performance and stability for our trading applications.
- Collaborate with the quantitative research team to implement their strategies into production systems.
- Effectively communicate system status and potential issues to stakeholders.
- This role entails 60% operations and monitoring tasks, and 40% development work.
- Employees are expected to start their workday at 8 AM, with a logout time of 6 PM, though the office hours are flexible.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in developing and deploying automated trading systems or related financial technology.
- Strong proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and Linux administration.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
