Could you be the full-time Product Manager - Traction, Aux & Energy Converters in Traction Development India we're looking for Bangalore, KA.
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive engineering and product management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll lead the development strategy of the Traction, Aux & Energy Converters, ensuring availability for sale and delivery within agreed performance, risk, and cost parameters. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (R&D, Sustaining and Competitiveness, Procurement, and Industrial strategy), define and manage the product roadmap, and much more.
You'll specifically take care of the product portfolio competitiveness, but also maintain product validation and homologation through evolving norms and standard regulations.
We'll look to you for:
- Coordinating the product roadmap in alignment with component-level targets
- Ensuring product competitiveness in technology and cost
- Validating and homologating products and maintaining them through market evolution
- Observing market trends to identify portfolio/technology gaps and actions needed
- Aligning product strategies with the RS Platform
- Confirming product definition for tenders and ensuring tender validation
- Supporting projects to maintain product strategy according to tender definitions
All About You

- Master of Engineering or equivalent educational degree
- Business fluency in the English language
- Experience in Engineering or Sub-System management (> 5 years)

- Understanding of traction/vehicle design and overall internal processes (Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Supplier)
- Leadership abilities and experience in a matrix organization
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit
- Willingness to travel
