JD of Tool Room In-charge.
- Maintain a detailed inventory of tools and equipment, and ensure their proper storage and maintenance.
- Supervise tool room & tool crib staff, including scheduling, training, and managing performance.
- Work closely with production departments to understand their tool requirements and ensure timely availability.
- Implement and monitor systems for tracking tool usage and maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols for the handling and storage of tools.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of new tools or the repair of existing ones.
- Assist in budget preparation for the tool room operations and monitor expenditures.
- Priorities the work as per requirement of urgency.
- In absence of manpower should handle all tool room machines operation.
- Running production line problem should be attended immediately.
- Should have knowledge of GD&T .
