Job Description: Ticketing Executive - Travel Ed-Tech Industry
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ticketing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of ticketing for our travel programs, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for travel, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Booking and Issuing Tickets:
Handle the end-to-end process of booking and issuing air, rail, and bus tickets for students, educators, and other clients using various travel booking systems and platforms.Customer Support:
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting clients with changes, cancellations, and special requests.Coordination with Travel Partners:
Liaise with airlines, transportation companies, and other travel service providers to secure the best deals and ensure availability.Payment Processing:
Manage payment collection and ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and securely.Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of bookings, cancellations, and customer interactions. Prepare and submit reports on ticketing activities to the management.Compliance and Regulations:
Ensure compliance with all travel-related regulations, including visa requirements, travel insurance, and health and safety guidelines.Travel Itinerary Management:
Assist in creating and managing detailed travel itineraries for educational programs, ensuring that all logistics are covered.
Proven experience in ticketing, travel coordination, or a similar role.- Familiarity with travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is a must.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
A passion for travel and education.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
A degree or diploma in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
