Explorience - Ahura Travels is a 40-year-old established, IATA accredited travel agency specializing in corporate travel management. We also offer travel planning and consulting services to help our clients optimize their travel agenda. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ticketing Executive to join our team at Ahura Travels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of ticketing procedures within the travel industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Flight Reservations: Manage flight reservations for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely bookings. This includes coordinating with airlines to secure the best possible rates and itineraries.
  2. Ticket Issuance: Issue tickets for domestic and international flights using various booking systems while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  3. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with any changes or modifications to travel plans.
  4. Documentation: Ensure all necessary travel documents, including tickets, visas, and passports, are accurately processed and delivered to clients in a timely manner.
  5. Fare Calculation: Calculate fares, taxes, and fees accurately, considering various factors such as routes, class of service, and promotions.
  6. Itinerary Planning: Assist clients in planning their travel itineraries by offering expert advice on flight options, layovers, and connecting flights to optimize their travel experience.
  7. Coordination: Coordinate with other departments within the company, such as sales and operations, to ensure seamless travel arrangements for clients.
  8. Stay Updated: Stay informed about changes in airline policies, fare structures, and industry trends to provide up-to-date information to clients and colleagues.
  9. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of bookings, payments, and client interactions using internal databases and booking systems.
  10. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those related to ticketing, refunds, and cancellations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  2. Experience with Galileo and Amadeus is a crucial requirement.
  3. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the travel industry.
  4. Proficiency in using ticketing software and booking systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in ticketing and documentation processes.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations and requirements.
  9. Familiarity with airline tariffs, fare rules, and ticketing procedures.
  10. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  11. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
