Third Party Risk Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Third-Party Risk Management:
• Assess and manage risks associated with third-party vendors and suppliers.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and due diligence on potential and existing third-party relationships.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and plans.
• Cybersecurity Questionnaires & Surveys:
• Prepare, distribute, and analyze cybersecurity questionnaires and surveys to vendors and suppliers.
• Evaluate responses to identify potential security risks and compliance issues.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address identified risks and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Vendor & Supplier Management:
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure vendors comply with contractual obligations and security requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues and improve overall security posture.
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Communicate effectively through email and verbal channels with internal teams and external vendors.
• Present risk assessment findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Work closely with international teams, particularly US-based companies, to align risk management practices.
• Report regularly to a manager based in the USA, providing updates on risk assessments, vendor compliance, and other relevant activities.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of risk assessments, findings, and actions taken.
• Generate regular reports on third-party risk management activities and present them to senior management.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to third-party risk management.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in third-party risk management.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Experience working with cybersecurity questionnaires and surveys.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and vendors to manage and mitigate risks.
• Experience collaborating with international teams, particularly with US-based companies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Familiarity with risk management tools and software.
