Responsibilities
- Teaching:
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with the mathematics department to develop and enhance the curriculum.
- Integrate innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Design and administer assessments to evaluate students understanding and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance.
- Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a well-organized and disciplined classroom environment.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Parental Engagement:
- Regularly communicate with parents regarding students progress and achievements.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other school events.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated on the latest educational trends, teaching methodologies, and technology.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and workshops.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field; Master's degree in Education is a plus.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience as a Mathematics teacher, preferably in a TGT role.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and styles.
- Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into teaching.
