JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Create new patterns and prints through adaptation of pre-designed / reference image or swatch or sample adhering to the assigned timelines. This would include incorporation of Graphical elements and color them as specified.
- Can generate design ideas from reference materials, current trends and specific client instructions.
- Creating detailed sketches of print designs to be used as the basis for finished products.
- Hand sketching designs, using your skills in identifying color arrangements, knowledge of certain fabrics and awareness of current design trends.
- Have an eye for colour, texture and pattern and have good attention to detail
- Incorporate Ink / Garment colors, Artwork size etc.
- Reviewing customer feedback and making any necessary adjustments to ensure satisfaction with the finished product
- Coordinating with clients to determine their needs and preferences, such as specific colors or fabrics.
- Create Underlays if require
- Check files for errors before submission and fine tune if required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Creating computerized designs using design software such as Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.
- Exceptional ability to generate & draw new ideas and solutions which needs to be artistic and creative.
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Should have an eye for colour, texture and pattern and have good attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Screen Printing and color separation will be an added advantage
- Strong sense of design and layout with an eye for detail.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Ability to work independently on strategic issues with overseas client, capable of managing fairly complex projects.
- Highly skilled in leading, collaborating with a team of designers to meet deadlines
- Excellent organization, communication skills - both oral and written with exceptional problem solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines is essential for a fast-paced environment.
- 3_+ Years Experience
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in creative role with a strong portfolio in both fashion and graphic design.
- Good in communication and project management skills.
