The following are the key responsibilities of a Test Automation Engineer:
1. Design and implement automated test cases and scripts for software applications, taking into consideration software requirements and functional specifications.
2. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, libraries, and tools to support testing efforts.
3. Execute automated tests and report results, including identification of defects and regression analysis.
4. Document and maintain automated tests and associated test data.
5. Troubleshoot and debug automation test failures.
They should have strong programming skills, experience with one or more test automation frameworks, and knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum. Additionally, they should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for software quality and reliability.
