Job Title: Tester with FIS OPF Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tester with expertise in FIS OPF (Open Payment Framework) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing payment systems and a deep understanding of the FIS OPF environment. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with the development team to ensure the highest quality of our payment processing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for FIS OPF-based applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on FIS OPF modules.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool, ensuring clear communication of issues and resolutions.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Participate in test automation initiatives and contribute to the development of automated test scripts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in payment processing and quality assurance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.
- Provide test progress and test results reports to project stakeholders.
- Stay current with new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies related to FIS OPF and payment systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with FIS OPF.
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems, financial transactions, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in creating and executing SQL queries for database validation.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, or similar).
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry.
