About The Role
The Customer Tax Transparency (CTT) competency is responsible for delivering business capability to enable ANZ to comply with its tax /compliance reporting obligations under Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and other similar regimes.
As part of CTT, the Test Analyst (TA) works with program delivery teams to plan, prepare and execute functional and non-functional test scripts, document identified defects and collaborate with other project professionals to solve problems to ensure a seamless customer experience in delivery of systems changes.
The role requires strong attention to details, stakeholder engagement and management skills to ensure a clear understanding of the program's objectives and functionality.
Experience in FATCA, CRS, Anti-Money Laundering/Know your Customer (AML/KYC) or Compliance related projects will be highly regarded.

What will your day look like
- Work with CTT and initiative stakeholders to ensure functional and non-functional solution capabilities are delivered to an acceptable level of quality through planed execution of required Test phases
- Undertake assigned Testing activities and the development of the project Testing artefacts (Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test Data Requirements, Defect reports, Test Summary Reports)
- Ensure that assigned testing activities are conducted within agreed timeframes in a collaborative manner
- Ensure awareness and compliance of all applicable policies and procedures relating to testing, risk and compliance
- Support the analysis of program risks, defects and issues through empirical evidence
- Contribute to root cause analysis and demonstrate ability to provide key insights to drive fact-based decisions whilst being able to communicate decisions effectively
- Collaborate and network with other business units and testing suppliers, including the Technology units
- Support other squad members in shared accountability, liaise with other teams to ensure dependencies between teams are understood, and identify and remove blockers
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with colleagues, managers and stakeholders
- Foster collaboration across teams and business units
- Interact with stakeholders to develop test plans for the team, coordinate the same and ensure the SLA for overall testing plan
- Mentor and monitor the Test analyst group ensure delivery is done on time
- Work with peers to improve, develop and promote the Testing profession
- Mentor more junior TAs, able to review and correct other TA's documentation, able to create professional PowerPoint presentations and present complex topics to senior stakeholders
What will you bring
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- 5+ years Testing experience, preferably with experience in Operational and Project functions
- Working understanding of project delivery lifecycles, disciplines and procedures
- Proven ability to adopt a Risk Analysis approach for Test Planning & Execution of required testing phases, including implementation verification
- Hands on experience in designing Test Approaches (Functional and non-functional, test design and test phasing), based on customer coverage and risk appetite
- Hand on experience in documenting fit for purpose Test plans, Test Acceptance, Test Scenarios and Data needs
- Proven ability to establish and run defect management process within Squads
- Proven ability to execute and/or Lead test execution as per the Test Plan and agreed scripts
- Proven ability to create and maintain test cases, traceability and execution status in JIRA & Confluence
- Proven ability to track and report test execution, test coverage and defects
- Proven ability to document Test findings and recommend positions to move forward
- Proven communication and presentation skills including senior stakeholder level, risk committees and governance forums
- Ability to work under pressure, without sacrificing quality whiles working at speed
- Knowledge on CRS and FATCA tax compliance obligations
- Hands on experience with Test Automation
- Working understanding of Performance and Volume testing
- Working understanding of Security Testing
