This position reports to
R&D Team Lead
Your role and responsibilities
Participating in refinement meetings to understand the converter functions and System Testing requirements and perform customer-focused Test Automation development activities on converter functions
Test Requirement Analysis, Manual Testing, Test Automation code development in Python in line with the Firmware development
Exploring the gaps in quality and design challenging Test scenarios and automate them creating CI/CD pipelines
Researching issues in software through Testing
Designing the testcases and executing the test automation as per R&D strategy
Maintaining the test defect logs captured during testing and testing automation development of the assigned product
Supporting the Product Owner in coordinating to provide and receive the technical inputs for the project and resolving the technical issues with the global architects and development teams
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelors / masters degree in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science or related field
- Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience in Test Automation, Testing, Test planning and Test Strategies of Embedded Systems
- Strong knowledge about Test Automation, CI/CD processes or equivalent tools and programming skills in Python / Robo Framework or any other framework with strong knowledge on OOPS concept
- Good understanding of Configuration management, Code Repository, Requirements management, Code Management and different testing phases including Release testing. Knowledge on Azure DevOps is preferred
- Hands on experience in creating CI/CD pipelines, writing test automation scripts.
- Good understanding of Test Automation Strategy and Process. (Any Testing certification will have added advantage)
- Experience in working with Power converters and knowledge on Real Time simulators would be an added advantage
