Territory Sales Officer (Wood-coating)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Establish strong relationships with distributors, retailers, contractors, and end-users.

Account Management:

  • Manage and grow existing accounts by understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct regular visits to key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Product Promotion:

  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients to highlight the features and benefits of wood coating products.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.

Market Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to support the continuous improvement of products and services.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account details.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the wood coating or related industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of the woodcoating market and products is a plus.
  • Other: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
