At AgroStar, an Assistant Territory Manager plays a crucial role in driving the companys revenue, managing teams, communicating our value proposition, and ensuring effective channel development and management within the defined territory. He/She is responsible for achieving sales targets, training teams, tracking performance, and providing valuable insights for business planning.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Drive revenue and growth by achieving sales targets for our Agri-Inputs business across categories like Seeds, Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition, and Farm Implements in the defined territory.
Analyze market trends, and conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in your territory
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure successful marketing campaigns and drive demand.
Supervise Sales Managers and Expansion Managers to drive revenue and Saathi partner onboarding
Regularly monitor progress, analyze data, and generate reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement for your team
Work with and train the Saathi partners on product placement of AgroStar products in their outlets.
Establish short and long-term goals for the territory and strategies to achieve the same,
Responsible for Collections from the Saathi partners
Collate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.
Qualifications:
Graduation in BSc agriculture or related field is mandatory
Should have at least 4+ years of Sales experience in the Agriculture industry.
Ability to multitask
Clear and effective decision-making, with an emphasis on a data-driven approach.
Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel).
Should have managed a sales team before
Must have complete knowledge of the local areas of the District
Should be open to travel at least 60% to 80 % of the time with a limited overnight stay.
