We are now looking for a Terminal Manager to join our team in Navi Mumbai, India.
What you will do
Overall responsibility for health and safety, quality, finishing efficiency and process development of slitting terminals in the region
Responsible for all aspects of operations development and service issues in the Region
Responsible for planning and coordination of operations expansion in the Region
Primary contact with EMEIA and UPM Group OHS, Technical, Operations, Administrative and SCM teams
Region contact external e.g. legal agencies, suppliers, contractors, authorities
General management and leadership of slitting terminal teams
Responsible for organisational development in the region terminals in liaison with local HR
Facilitate communication between operations/sales/customer service/Business & SCM's
Perform all duties in full compliance of all laws, safety and environmental regulations, and in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures
Who you are
You have any combination of education and experience equivalent to Technical College or University degree in Engineering with at least 3 years experience of direct Operations Leadership and Management or equivalent Production / Engineering background
You are a good communicator at all levels and have a good foundation of interpersonal skills
You have excellent [one of the] local and good English language skills, oral and written
You are able to lead, guide and support the Terminal team's in meeting the needs of the customer and delivering the company objectives
You are able to negotiate, work and effectively communicate with a varied range of Internal and External stakeholders
You have good practical knowledge of Microsoft office packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
You have proven knowledge and experience of modern management methods e.g. Lean manufacturing, 5S, Six sigma are an advantage
