POSITION:

TENDERING MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE:

Manage the Companys shipyard tendering activities starting from the BID/NO BID approval cycle through to submittal of the BID to the Client, incorporating pre-bid stages of definition, planning, conceptual engineering, procurement, construction and start-up, including operation and maintenance requirements, risk assessment, estimating and interpretation including clarification with others on contractual, commercial as well as technical terms and conditions and required deliverables in compliance with the Request for Proposal (RFP).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with all involved stakeholders within the Company and its subsidiaries in the pre-tender stage and order to collect accurate and realistic information prior to submission of tenders for potential projects. Review the final Tender Summary and lead the presentation of the Tender to Senior Management for review and approval.

Follow up with all external and internal stakeholders on the status of submitted tenders updating the Top Management of the same.

Extensively study the reasons for non-awarded tenders to incorporate the same for consideration for future tenders.

Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders upon tender award to ensure that the Project Contract is in line with the awarded tender.

Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders for a proper handover of all awarded tender details enabling them to successfully execute the same. Contribute to the enhancement of the Companys Quality and HSE Management Systems.

EXPERIENCE:

15 to 20 years of relevant work experience in Shipyard related activities.
