Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy Development: Develop clear and concise test strategies, scenarios, and test cases based on business requirements, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders.
- Requirement Workshops: Conduct workshops to thoroughly understand client requirements and proposed solutions, acting as a bridge between clients, analysis/solution teams, development teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and departments to gather requirements and deliver testing-related documents, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deadlines.
- Test Execution: Lead the execution of planned test cases, ensuring accurate recording of test results and adherence to system specifications.
- Project Management: Create project timelines for delivery, manage testing team activities, and ensure deadlines are met effectively.
- Team Management: Manage and coordinate all testing roles and responsibilities within the team, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to junior testers to facilitate their professional growth.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in the preparation of quality assessments, reports, and metrics, ensuring the highest standards of quality in testing activities.
- Test Tools Development: Take responsibility for all test tools development and configuration management activities, leveraging expertise in both functional and non-functional testing.
- Agile Methodology: Demonstrate understanding of Agile methodology, with experience using the JIRA platform for project management and issue tracking.
The Profile
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in Transact, with a focus on Temenos T24 Core Banking testing.
- Strong hands-on exposure to Temenos Modules including Securities, Derivatives, Treasury, and Structured Products.
- Proven experience in functional and non-functional testing, with a comprehensive understanding of QA artifacts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring a team of testers.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to provide clear direction to the testing team.
- A learning mindset, with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as JIRA.
