Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive individual to focus on delegate/audience acquisition for our events. This role primarily involves making a high volume of calls to engage with potential attendees, providing them with event details, and encouraging registration. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, a persuasive approach, and an understanding of event-based audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective delegates, introducing them to upcoming events and encouraging attendance.
- Answer inbound inquiries and/or emails, addressing event-specific questions and providing assistance with registration.
- Effectively communicate the value of attending events, tailoring the message to align with delegate interests and industry trends.
- Manage accurate and up-to-date records of call interactions, registrations, and feedback.
- Follow up with leads and re-engage past attendees to maximize audience participation.
- Stay informed on event details, speakers, agendas, and industry developments to convey relevant and compelling information to delegates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in telecalling, delegate acquisition, or audience engagement, ideally within the events industry.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a persuasive, customer-focused approach.
- Goal-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
