Job Description

The job description of a hotel telephone operator includes1234:
  • Answering incoming calls and directing them to guest rooms through the telephone console or to hotel personnel or departments.
Taking and distributing messages for guests, providing information on guest services, and answering inquires about public hotel events.
  • Providing timely wake up call service to in-house guests.
Taking notes, messages through telephone and properly delivering them to appropriate guests.
  • Responding to inquiries from the public and providing information about the organization.
