Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Telecommunications Engineer located in Saudi Arabia. As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for Estimation, designing and maintaining telecommunications systems, providing technical support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient network design and implementation.
- Responsible for Installation, Testing and Commissioning of PAGA, CCTV Systems, Intrusion &
- Detection systems, Access control system,UPS & CATV System
- Prepare engineering sketches, shop drawing, coordination drawing, redline drawing for constructions, relocations or installations of all telecom systems.
- Ensure work on-site as per standards such as per technical specifications, ITP and design scope.
- Assist and advise site progress and subcontractors for RFI, MS & Technical review for engineering designs.
- Review & finalising technical offers from vendors for the supply of equipment and bulk material. Experienced in FAT, SAT execution for all telecommunications systems, CCTV, Access Control, PABX, Radios, Fiber Optics, and UPS.
- Responsible Telecom systems Installation, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up activities, handing over of project to the client with end user along with as built drawings, software's and spares.
- Experienced in Project Engineering, Procuring & Executing of Fiber optics, ISP & OSP Systems. Responsible for installation, testing, commissioning of copper & fiber networks
- Responsible for completion of fiber optics cable Interfaces, migration process & Manage the OSP engineering process from project award through permit closeout and as-built submittal
- Responsible for Installation, Testing and Commissioning for LAN/WAN, PABX, IP Telephone Systems, PAGA Systems, Meteorological systems, Fiber optic network & Cat Cabling.
- Installation of Cable tray, raceways, conduits and ducts.
- To attend the progress meeting, prepare/review the BOQ/Scope, prepare work cost sheet, review the drawings, and supervise during executions, planning the work/cost and interacting with the client.
- Responsible for installation, testing and commissioning for LAN/WAN, Public Address System, IDS, Fire Alarm, Access control system, CCTV, IP telephone, fiber optic network, Cable trays, raceways and
- conduits and structure cabling for copper system.
Qualifications
- Troubleshooting, Technical Support, and Network Design skills
- Experience with Telecommunications Systems and Voice over IP (VoIP)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of network protocols and technologies
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Relevant certifications in telecommunications or networking
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field
