Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
The Telecom engineer principal role is to lead initiatives to design and implement Telecom solutions architecture onto the manufacturing environment.
Candidate should have experience and capability to test 3rd party devices.
Complying to telecom solutions guideline specifications, design approach and documents, for project implementation
Supporting the activities of the multinational engineering team with the project manager.
Develop detailed engineering and system related documents such as Functional Design Specifications, System Architecture, Block Diagrams, Cablings Schedule, Test Procedures, etc.
Control and management of Factory Acceptance Testing, site commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing according to project milestones.
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor degree in Engineering is a must (master/graduate degree preferred).
Engineer Level: At least 7 years experience in IT industry and 2 years of Leading project experience Approximately 50% travel.
Knowledge of the following areas with relevant certifications
Telecom systems
KVM and Videowall Systems
CCTV
Networking (preferably with CISCO Networks)
Fiber Optics, Wireless Communication
Windows server and storage setups
Competencies
Understanding of one or more of the following businesses: Oil and gas production, Refineries, Chemical plants.
Understanding of one or more of the following functions in the processing industry: Telecom, KVM, Video Management Solutions.
Skills
Fluency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Capability in conducting business in English both in speaking and writing.
Ability to lead a team of engineers.
Familiarity with available technology in the automation market.
