TELECOM EXPENSES MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Job Overview:As a Telecommunications Expense Management Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting data and performing analysis of telecom billing, inventory, and contractual information. You will support the engineering, documentation, and implementation of cost savings opportunities and ensure compliance with existing service contracts. The roles require strong data management skills, experience with TEM software, and a good understanding of telecom technology and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Deliver tactical cost savings and implement strategic ongoing cost management solutions in the areas of Telecom Voice, Data, and Cellular services.

2.Meet with division planners regularly to discuss ways to reduce telecom costs and monitor services for reporting purposes.

3.Assist Procurement in contract negotiations and Request for Proposals with telecom vendors.

4.Manage SLAs with outside service providers and carriers.

5.Maintain accurate, up-to-date telecom inventories.

6.Select, implement, and integrate TEM automation.

7.Strategize and convert inventory and invoice data from existing customer applications into the appropriate TEM application.

8.Recommend process and organizational-related changes within telecom support and accounts payables departments.

9.Develop and implement process and automation recommendations regarding improvements to TEM cost management.

Skills Required:

Experience with TEM Software including Rivermine, TangoeOne, Sakon, Calero, MDSL, and similar software.

Minimum 1 year of experience in Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Telecom Auditing, Telecom Architecture, Carrier Services, Carrier Billing Solutions, or Telecom Accounts Payables.

Strong data gathering and management skills.

Advanced knowledge of telecom architecture, TEM process re-engineering activities, and telecom accounts payables.

Knowledge of various telecommunication products and services.

Understanding of telecom technology and billing systems, with a preference for previous experience with telecom contracts.
