Job Description

Overview

As a Telecaller for a remote position in the Edtech industry, you will play a key role in promoting educational products and services to potential customers. Your ability to effectively communicate with prospective clients and provide excellent customer service will be essential in driving the success of our educational offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote educational products and services
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide information about our offerings
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable educational solutions
  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities
  • Follow up with customers via phone or email to close sales
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
  • Adhere to communication scripts and guidelines
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner
  • Contribute to team meetings and training sessions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Participate in continuous professional development and skills enhancement

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in telesales, customer service, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
  • Active listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working with sales targets and quotas
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in telesales or customer service is a plus
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively
  • Understanding of the education industry and its products is desirable
  • Customer-focused mindset and dedication to providing excellent service
  • Resilience and ability to handle rejection positively
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow professionally
