Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Calls:
- Make outbound calls to potential customers or existing clients to promote products/services.
- Inform customers about the benefits of the product/service and persuade them to make purchases or inquiries.
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly targets related to calls made, appointments set, or sales achieved.
- Inbound Calls:
- Handle inbound calls from customers or clients to address inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues.
- Offer solutions or alternatives to meet customers needs and provide excellent service.
- Customer Support:
- Provide product or service information to customers in a professional manner.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues effectively.
- Maintain a positive attitude and create good rapport with clients and customers.
- Database Management:
- Update and maintain customer databases with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Record customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as action taken.
- Sales & Lead Generation:
- Identify potential customers and qualify leads through targeted calls.
- Follow up on leads and convert them into actual sales.
- Upsell and cross-sell company products and services where appropriate.
- Appointment Setting:
- Schedule appointments for field sales representatives or management teams.
- Coordinate with clients to confirm appointments and follow up if necessary.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on product features, promotions, pricing, and policies.
- Communicate new offerings and changes to customers in a clear and accurate manner.
- Reporting:
- Maintain records of all communications and sales efforts.
- Report regularly on performance metrics (calls made, conversions, etc.) to supervisors or managers.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other telecallers and departments (sales, marketing, customer service) to ensure alignment in goals and strategies.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and product knowledge.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Communication Skills: Clear, articulate, and friendly speaking voice with good listening skills.
- Sales Skills: Ability to persuade and influence potential customers.
- Customer-Centric: A focus on providing excellent customer service and building long-term relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to document customer information accurately.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software, MS Office, and phone systems.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple calls and tasks efficiently.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in telecalling, customer service, or sales is preferred but not always required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with outbound calling in a sales environment.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
