Position Title: Telecaller for Collection

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Telecaller for Collection to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to contact customers via telephone with the aim of recovering outstanding payments and resolving overdue accounts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a persuasive demeanor, and a proactive attitude towards achieving collection targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Initiate outgoing calls to customers with overdue accounts in order to negotiate payment arrangements.
2. Follow up on outstanding invoices and overdue payments in a timely and professional manner.
3. Identify and resolve customer issues or disputes related to payment collection.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and communications with customers.
5. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding debt collection practices and compliance regulations.
6. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, finance, and customer service to ensure effective resolution of collection issues.
7. Provide regular updates on collection activities and progress to management.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a collections or debt recovery environment.
2. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to effectively communicate payment terms and resolve payment disputes.
3. Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet collection targets.
5. Proficiency in using collection management software and MS Office applications.
6. High level of integrity and ethical conduct in dealing with sensitive financial information.
7. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
8. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices is a plus.
