Job Description
Role Objective:
The Qlik Sense Technical Lead will design, develop, and optimize Qlik Sense applications and dashboards, ensuring the seamless integration of data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
.Business Understanding: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Qlik solutions.
.Arch/Design Documentation: Develop comprehensive architecture and design documentation for Qlik Sense applications and data models.
.Dev Testing & Solution: Implement and oversee development testing to ensure the reliability and performance of Qlik Sense solutions. Provide solutions to identified issues and continuously improve application performance.
.Understanding Coding Standards, Compliance & Infosecurity: Adhere to coding standards and ensure compliance with information security protocols and best practices.
.Non-functional Requirement: Address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and maintainability in the design and development of Qlik Sense applications.

Core Qlik Sense Concepts:
oQlik Sense architecture and Associative Engine
oETL (Qlik Scripting, QVDs) and Visualization techniques.
oData modeling best practices (Star schema, Snowflake, etc.)
oQlik expressions (Set analysis, Aggregation functions, Calendar functions, Chart exp, Apply map etc.)
oSecurity (Section access, Incremental data update)
oDevelop custom extensions (JavaScript, HTML, and CSS)
oPerformance optimization (Incremental loading, Caching, Aggregation etc.)
oServer Administration (QMC, user license handling etc.)
oReport template design & creation
oAutomation & scheduling reports (Repository Service API)
oNPrinting
SQL Concepts & Hands-on Experience:
oExtensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
oSQL querying and data manipulation
oSQL optimization techniques
oStored procedures
oIndexing, Query Tuning
Nice to Have:
oProgramming Language: Knowledge and hands-on experience in front end technologies.
oWeb Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is helpful for creating custom visualizations and extensions.
