Role Description:
- Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Reporting: Group IT, Group Digital solution. Switzerland

- He/She must have worked directly with a global client/Business.
- 8 to 15+ years of experience in physical and financial Commodity and Energy Trading systems, experience in Allegro Commodity Management ETRM is an added advantage.
- Must have strong communication and collaboration skills articulating in clear concise messages
- Strong written/verbal communications skills. Understands importance and frequency of status updates or documentation capture and can present information or ideas openly
- Must have at least 1 End to End implementation in an ETRM system.
- Experience or familiarity with ASP.Net/C# applications and components using SQL Server/Oracle preferably in the energy and/or financial sectors
- Experience or familiarity with ETRM/CTRM systems such as Allegro, RightAngle or Triple Point.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems with relentless passion.
- Ability to acquire overall business knowledge to help create long-term customer solutions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience due to this being a customer facing role
Responsibilities:
- Create technical solutions for system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. This can come in the form of helping with a system implementation, upgrade or enhancement.
- Build design documents.
- Contribute to the development of Object Oriented system designs.
- Ensure proper software design for scalability, robustness, maintainability, and integration with other components and systems.
- Participate in validation of test cases
- Gain an understanding of front, mid and back offices to meet the business needs.
- Ability to translate between functional requirements and technical designs
- Ability to work on all project phases: project preview, fit/gap analysis, configuration, design, testing and deployment
- Must have a functional and technical IT background with strong analytical skills with ability to write scripts, database queries, along with understanding the software development lifecycle and business acumen
- Interest in latest technologies (quantum computing, AI, ML, etc.)
