Mission

Location: Bengaluru (India)

Position Overview

The Platform Team is a dedicated unit focused on supporting various verticals by leveraging both existing and newly developed Platform components.

Our Team's Objectives Are As Follows

  • Implementing new features within its components to align with the roadmaps of each vertical.
  • Enhancing the reliability, stability, and processing speed of managed components to optimize customer experience and bolster our competitiveness.
  • Streamlining costs and refining existing production solutions to enhance overall business efficiency.

Two prominent components maintained by the team include a media processing engine, capable of hosting multiple workflows with configurable AI-based editing algorithms, and a web application designed for post-producers to efficiently detect and assign media for manual retouching.

We are looking for a talented Platform Solution Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation, integration, and optimization of our cutting-edge platform. As the technical cornerstone, you will provide exceptional support and expertise to both internal teams and external partners. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and user satisfaction of our platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to internal teams leveraging the platform, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
  • Incident Management: Efficiently handle incidents reported by internal teams, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • API Integration Support: Assist internal and external users with integrating Platform APIs, offering guidance and troubleshooting to ensure successful implementation.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation on various API/product technical behaviors, standardizing support processes and empowering users with self-service resources.
  • Issue Investigation: Investigate and resolve issues upstream of engineers, ensuring root causes are identified and long-term solutions are implemented.
  • System Monitoring: Actively monitor system health, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to proactively prevent issues and ensure high availability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system improvements, contributing to backlog prioritization and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system stability and user experience.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a technical support or platform engineering role.
  • Basic understanding of API integration and support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and infrastructure is a plus but not required.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
