Job Description
We are looking for 2+ years an entry level Technical Support Engineer to join our Infrastructure teamsomeone who can maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed and enjoy working in a team first environment -Then this role is for you.
The role will perform the following (but not limited to) tasks.
- Technical Support engineer user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, Antivirus, Service-Now ticketing system, Monitor event log warnings and errors, Office 365 admin support, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SSO OKTA, SailPoint, knowledge on Network and IT Security, Zscaler Firewall, Network monitoring tools.
- Work closely with IT and business stakeholders as a go to engineer to ensure our systems are running smoothly, and efficiently. Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, applications, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
- Proactively identifies needs for improvements, process improvements, capacity changes, Plans and implements upgrades and patches to stay on current versions.
- Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
- Patient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude.
- Participates in on-call duties 24/7, and planned or un-planned weekend/evening work. Provide front-line technical support via phone and email to internal and external clients.
Qualifications
Expert knowledge of Windows Client environment, Microsoft Intune, Office365, Laptop/Desktop Hardware troubleshooting skills.
