We are Hiring a Professional Global Services Engineer to join RADs technical support team in India.

Responsibilities

  • Be actively involved in post-sales and pre-sales solution support activities
  • Perform demonstration of proof of concepts (PoC), installation, homologation testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and training for customers abroad or remotely
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Perform root cause analysis of issues
  • Prepare technical documentation for customers
  • Provide status and resolution communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the knowledge base of the team

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Engineering degree (BE/BTech) a must.
  • Experience in a technical support role with an equipment manufacturer or systems integrator for multi-vendor solution - advantage.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet layer-2 Protocols: Frame Structure, VLAN, STP, LAG, G.8032, Y.1564, RFC2544, MEF, Ethernet-OAM.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet layer-3 Protocols: Basic Routing, MPLS, BGP, IPsec.
  • Working experience with testers like VeEX, JDSU, Spirent.
  • Knowledge in TDM network (E1 & SDH), Virtualization (SD-WAN), Linux OS - advantage.
  • Proven presentation skills and experience working with external customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills to handle global customers.
  • Problem solver, self-starter, performs well under pressure.
  • Ability to travel (locally or abroad) to support customers.
