Job Description

Experience: 3+ Years

• Skills Required:

- Robust hands-on experience in designing and executing solutions on System i (AS/400) environment.
- Proficient in a wide range of AS/400 products, particularly:
- RPG
- RPG ILE
- SQL
- XML

• Good to Have:

- Web Services
- XAnalysis tool
- COBOL/400
- SYNON
- Specialization in new age offerings on the platform

As a Technical Specialist in this role, you will possess expertise in translating IT requirements into the design, development, and assembly of components to create custom information systems. You will be responsible for creating deliverables such as functional and technical designs, models, components, code, unit tests, and documentation as part of both Application Development and Application Maintenance Support.

• Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and understand IT requirements to develop technical solutions.
- Design and develop components for custom information systems.
- Create functional and technical design documents.
- Develop, test, and maintain code for applications.
- Provide application maintenance support.
- Document processes and technical specifications for the solutions developed.
