6-8 years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas:
Thorough and clear understanding of Oracle Database Architecture - including the latest version of Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c)
Experience on Oracle Applications 12.2 including patching, cloning, middleware components, concurrent managers, workflow,etc
Hands on experience on Oracle Application patches and DB patches ADOP R12.2 Oracle Multitenant DB architecture.
Knowledge of SOAP and REST webservices is preferred.
Some experience on RAC, ASM, Exadata, Performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker
Some Experience in handling performance issues on the Application and Database layer in a complex transactional environment.
Experience in handling complex database backup and recovery scenarios using RMAN
Experience in database migrations and upgrades
Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues
Experience in database monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager including target management, installation, HA configuration and administration of OEM, incident and alert management, monitoring templates, Integration with ticketing tool.
Knowledge of Grafana is preferred.
Experience in automation using Shell scripts, Perl, Python, Ansible etc
Good to have knowledge in OS administration (Linux, Solaris)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work in EUR shift and on weekends as required.
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues
Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills.
