As a Technical Sourcer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top technical talent to meet our growing staffing needs. You will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and to develop strategies for finding the best candidates. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
Talent Sourcing:- Utilize various sourcing methods such as Boolean searches, social media, networking, and other creative techniques to identify and attract top technical talent.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.Candidate Engagement:
Conduct initial outreach and engagement with potential candidates to introduce them to the company and role.
- Screen candidates for technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with job requirements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and team dynamics.
Provide regular updates and feedback to hiring managers and recruiters on the sourcing process and candidate pipeline.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, competitive landscape, and talent market conditions.- Share insights and recommendations with the recruiting team to refine sourcing strategies.
Candidate Experience:- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, transparency, and professionalism.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience:
Proven experience as a Technical Sourcer or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow).
Experience in the tech industry or with technical roles (e.g., software engineers, data scientists) is highly preferred.Skills:
Strong understanding of technical job requirements and technology stacks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with ATS and other recruitment software.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing.
- Certification in talent sourcing or recruitment (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter).
Understanding of diversity sourcing strategies and initiatives.
