As Technical Sales Manager, you will front Techno-commercial engagement with our customers to help establish business growth and market share in the Brewing & Distilling industry in South Asia.
You will be responsible for executing our relationship strategy at global key accounts, manage sales to direct local customers and distributors. You will engage with customers in commercial, marketing, technical and application discussions.
This role is based out of Mumbai, India and will report to South Asia Sales Leader - Grain Processing & Food Enzymes (Brewing & Distilling and COPI).
How you will contribute and lead
Execute plans for global key accounts.
Work closely with key accounts to ensure expected service levels are met/exceeded.
Develop account strategy and execute plans for distributor and local customers.
Achieve sales targets and business objectives for the sales to Brewing & Distilling Industry in South Asia as per business strategy and annual sales budget plan.
Understand needs and challenges of customers, build and manage strategic relationships to identify win-win opportunities and grow revenues while meeting unmet needs of the customer, enabling customer to achieve own objectives with our solutions.
Drive and build strong opportunity pipeline from potential customers.
Translate customer s insights and unmet needs into new business leads.
Maintain updated CRM - account profiles, account plans, call reports and opportunity pipeline etc.
Maintain up to date knowledge on market developments and trends, competitive intelligence, and landscape, to ensure relevance of market strategy.
Forecast accuracy and demand monitoring.
Liaise with supply chain, production, SBU and other functions to ensure uninterrupted supplies of our products in the market.
Collaborate with internal functions (e.g., Sales Leader, Application, Quality, Regulatory, Supply chain and Customer services) to develop and execute business leads.
What you will need to be successful
Masters/bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or any other relevant discipline.
At least 8 - 12 years of proven track record in Technical Sales role in Brewing & Distilling Industry.
Qualification as a brewer will be an added advantage.
In-depth knowledge of Brewing & Distilling industry.
Thorough understanding of Brewing & Distilling process and plants.
Existing network and expertise in Brewing & Distilling Industry.
Proven value selling and negotiation skills, ability to influence.
Good commercial, marketing and technical acumen.
