Our skilled service engineers ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment through servicing and maintenance contracts. We also offer genuine spare parts and a rental fleet of air compressors for project jobs and critical breakdowns.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Technical Sales Engineer at NATIONAL COMPRESSOR SALES AND SERVICES in Vadodara. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to customers, communicating effectively to understand their requirements, and offering tailored solutions. The role involves sales engineering, building and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to promote air compressors and parts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.
  2. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, understand industry dynamics, and anticipate customer needs.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication, product demonstrations, and exceptional customer service.
  4. Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on air compressor products and applications, providing technical support and guidance to customers as needed.
  5. Solution Selling: Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and recommend customized solutions that address their challenges and optimize performance.
  6. Lead Generation: Generate leads through proactive outreach, networking events, trade shows, and other channels to expand the customer base and increase sales opportunities.
  7. Quoting and Proposal Development: Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and proposals in collaboration with the sales team to secure new business.
  8. Sales Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends, providing regular reports to management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, and Sales skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to provide technical support
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively understand and address customer needs
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Experience in the compressed air industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
