Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with expertise in technical project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS), assisting with design and drawings, understanding structural engineering drawings, and managing all technical details on site.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Management:
- Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for various projects.
- Assist site engineers with design and drawing interpretations and modifications.
- Understand and analyze structural engineering drawings and ensure their accurate implementation on-site.
- Oversee the technical details and provide solutions for any challenges that arise during construction.
Project Planning and Estimation:
- Estimate project timelines and budget requirements accurately.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
Site Coordination and Support:
- Work closely with site engineers to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the on-site team, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Budgeting and Billing:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Generate detailed bills of quantities and project bills based on calculations and site measurements.
Quality Assurance and Control:
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Implement quality control measures and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil engineering and technical project management.
- Proficiency in preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and understanding structural drawings.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
