Job Description:
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible to drive the successful execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions. This role will involve managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial scoping and requirements gathering to development, implementation, and delivery.The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with stakeholders across the organization, to understand requirements, identify gaps, and achieve consensus on the best technical approaches.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to design technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, data models, and API specifications.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and align with industry best practices.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Assist in project planning, including defining project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development lifecycle and project management processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science/ Information Technology.
- 0-2 years of experience as a Developer/ Technical Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong technical background with experience in software development, system integration, and database management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Knowledge of SQL, data modelling, and API design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Capable of creating and maintaining technical as well as business documentation.
