Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10-15 years of experience in technical project management and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of complex technical projects.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Proven experience as a BI Developer
- Industry experience is preferred
- Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Azure Functions)
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Requirements:
- Overall experience of 10-15 years in Project management.
- Over 5 years of Project Management experience should manage complex Fixed Bid engagements
- Very good understanding and experience of Agile Project Management.
- Project Management certification like PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Safe Agile is good to have
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in technical project management.
- Experience managing complex technical projects, including software development projects.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and project team members.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project resources.
- Experience with project management software, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
- Certification in project management, such as PMP or Prince2, is a plus.
