Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Program Manager at Vybe Cabs. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of key technology projects and initiatives. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, develop timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress. The Technical Program Manager will also be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of software development projects and driving continuous improvement in project management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of technical programs and projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and other key stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Implement and refine agile methodologies to improve project execution and team productivity.
- Conduct regular project reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends and assess their potential impact on our business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
- Experience in technical program management, project management, or a related role, preferably within a startup or tech company.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, system architecture, or related technical fields.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent understanding of agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or ride-hailing is a plus.
