Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to oversee large-scale cloud development and migration programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with our internal engineering team and partner team, to ensure smooth execution, transparency, and proactive risk management. While experience with both AWS and GCP is preferred, strong experience with at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is required. The role will require extensive expertise in managing complex cloud migration projects, effective stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Oversight: Lead and manage the entire cloud migration program, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met in coordination with the partner team.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and develop program strategies, ensuring the smooth execution of development or migration tasks and minimizing disruptions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and the external partner team. Ensure regular, transparent communication and reporting on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Collaboration with External Partners: Work closely with the partner's program manager and technical manager to align objectives, resolve conflicts, and ensure overall program success.
• Documentation and Reporting: Ensure proper documentation of all processes, changes, and key decisions. Provide comprehensive updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on program progress and challenges.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of execution from the partner team, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon standards and best practices throughout the migration.
• Cost Management: Oversee project budgets, track costs, and ensure that migration efforts are aligned with the financial objectives of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Experience:10+ years of total experience in technical program management, with at least 3-5 years of experience leading large-scale cloud migration projects.
• Cloud Expertise: Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, &/or GCP) is required. Experience with both AWS and GCP is highly desirable.
• Migration Expertise: Proven experience in managing large-scale cloud migrations, preferably involving infrastructure, data, and application workloads.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and executive-level communications.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage external partner teams, ensuring alignment, transparency, and effective communication.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate problems and challenges and to respond decisively with strategic solutions.
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile project management frameworks and experience working in Agile teams is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-cloud environments and an understanding of the differences between AWS and GCP.
• Certifications in either AWS or GCP (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in managing parallel cloud operations (running both AWS and GCP environments during migration) would be beneficial.
