Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, or Engineering field (BSc / MSc / BCA / MCA / BE / ME / BTech / MTech / MBA) with 6+ years of progressive IT experience
3+ years of experience as a Product Manager/ Project Manager or related job family
3+ years of experience in agile software delivery and backlog management
Understands business and user requirements to prioritize the product backlog and manage risks.
Focus on delivering product value through coordination.
Demonstrate continued drive for process improvements, thinking out of the box to motivate and encourage team members.
Work closely with Business Partners to understand their product vision, strategy and roadmap, and break it down into an actionable backlog for the development team.
Help Business Partners understand our iterative development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product through careful and deliberate prioritization.
Work with the product owner to understand the pain points (if any) and work towards addressing them in a prioritized manner.
Work with the product teams (internal and/or external) to prioritize, plan, and deliver the product.
Ensures the backlog is populated with enough prioritized user stories that are ready to be estimated for the next two iterations.
Communicates openly and frequently with the team by being responsive to in-person prompts.
Verifies that the delivered software product meets desired business outcomes.
Redefines the backlog content to optimize business outcomes based on software product feedback.
Work with product designers (internal and/or external) to ensure timely delivery of designs and assets to the engineering development team.
Advocate for an iterative development approach, working closely with designers to measure success of the solution and inform product improvement.
Focus on delivering value to our customers through careful and deliberate prioritization of desired outcomes.
Identify success stories and share with the broader product team.
Help innovate and iterate on agile PM processes always working to find ways to improve.
Knowledge share and mentor others to collectively move the team forward in with Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking principles; innovate and iterate on PM processes
Eligibility Criteria:
Prior experience of managing a product team
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (Architects, Feature Owners, Designers and business partners etc. , ) spread out globally.
Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems.
Able to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
Good interpersonal communication skills
Data driven and result oriented
Familiarity with OKR models preferred. Understand measuring outcomes using Key results.
Experience in building/managing technology products on cloud platform.
Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment.
Previous success working with an Agile development team.
Background in software development - preferred.
Understands technical problems and can assess technology strategy used for meeting the business requirements.
