Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Interpret mechanical and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of ambiguity, with only high-level direction.
- 10 +years experience in technical planning, hardware analyses, and definition of hardware requirements, make-or-buy designs, cost and risk analyses, support analyses and predictive assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Understand LRU O.S. and Low Level SW design and concepts (LRU boot sequence, File system definition) and explaining how the SW utilizes the HW.
- Have working knowledge of Basic Linux shell scripting.
- Have working knowledge of IPC Electronics standards.
- Have the ability to analyze HW system architecture with particular focus on integration concerns, product life cycle, EOL, obsolescence and sustainability.
- Have experience driving RCCA, identifying/assessing risk and generating multi-discipline risk mitigation plans.
- Knowledge of DO-160 EMI & Environmental testing
