Responsibilities
- Lead a project team of 4-5 associates to deliver high-quality component solutions for desktops, middleware, and server platforms.
- Develop effective, defect-free source code that meets business requirements and team standards.
- Propose technical alternatives for solving complex problems of data connectivity, including query execution optimization, caching, and reliability.
- Develop unit test cases to verify code.
- Collaborate closely with team members, Product Owners/Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment with standards.
- Mentor junior engineers joining the team.
- Write design documentation and specifications as required.
- Propose improvements to the code structure, testing process, and overall design to solve complex issues across multiple products.
- Identify changes that make the system(s) more efficient and/or reduce operation or maintenance costs.
- Perform any other work/responsibility as assigned by the manager.
Education And Experience Required
- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science engineering, or a related field from a reputed institute is required.
- Possess 8-10 years of hands-on development experience.
