About the Role:

As a Technical Lead at Elucidata, you will take full ownership of our infrastructure, managing both backend and frontend systems. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining application architectures that align with business requirements, and you'll work closely with product teams to create technical proposals for new features and product innovations. In this role, you'll mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. You'll also oversee complex software architectures, monitor operational metrics, and manage the daily operations essential to our business. Additionally, you'll play a key role in building and retaining top engineering talent, contributing to the overall strength and growth of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete infrastructure, covering both backend and frontend, ensuring robust performance and scalability.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable application architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with product teams to define technical proposals for new features and product innovations.
• Provide mentorship to engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Take ownership of software architecture decisions, operational metrics, and the overall health of deployed applications.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day technical operations, addressing issues as they arise and maintaining uptime.
• Play a key role in hiring and retaining top engineering talent, contributing to team growth and success.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficient in at least one language used for web development; we primarily write in Python
• Experience in building backend web applications and developing REST APIs
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with AWS cloud services
• Experience in ETL, Data Lake, and data warehouse pipelines
• Experience with frontend technologies like HTML/CSS/Javascript/Angular/React
